We have stayed here a few times en route to the Alps for New Year. We have always been pleased with the hotel but this year it seemed slightly shabby in comparison to previous years..
Just felt the rooms were not as clean and fresh as could be..
However the staff remain friendly, the parking is secure and easy. Breakfast...

We (family with 2 young children) spent one night in the hotel on 16 Dec 11, as a stopover on our way to a skiing holiday in the French Alps. Dijon is ideally placed if you want to stop overnight and then have a shorter drive to your resort - allows you to arrive in the resort ahead of the...

My wife and I stayed a total of 3 nights in this hotel, 16 and 17 November and 24 November 2011. On the evening of 18 Nov we invited two business contacts to join us for dinner. The meal was satisfactory and the service was good. On 24 November we arrived fairly late at about 10 pm. On the menu...

I really like Novotel hotels in France, and Novotel Dijon lived up to the chain's reputation.
Perfect accessibility for a motorbiker, secure parking, lovely staff, wonderful food, excellent service.
Close to motorway for fast and easy access.
Fine range of TV channels allows for catchup with international news in French, Italian, English and German.
I just wish Novotel would change...

Very very disappointed in the fact I could not enjoy my dinner under such a beautiful blue sky since I was told it might rain and actually didn't for next 48 hours.
Had to resign myself to eat inside to realise that the menu was identical to the room service menu.
Much different in other Novotels

A ten minute drive outside Dijon ( major tram way being laid makes driving difficult at the moment) this hotel lies in a quiet spot and was perfectly adequate for our needs ( 2 night stay)
The room was smaller than Novotel Suite rooms, but still had the basic amenities. The carpet was not very clean, and the dressing table/mini...

Please avoid this hotel. We are a family of two adults and two children which had the displeasure to stay in the Novotel Dijon Sud hotel for two nights. The rooms are smelly, dark, and dirty and guest beds are horrible. I reported the problems to the receptionist and asked for a different room on our return , which was...

Location is not excellent although not too far from motorway. The worst bit really was that the shower did not slide up and down properly, it was held in the down position. This clearly was a fault that existed before we entered the room, but still we were given it. When I requested to get it fixed, this was after...

We've stayed here a number of times over the last 5 years, on average 3 to 4 times a year. Accommodation wise it is a typical Novotel with all rooms more or less the same size and the same format (largish double bed + fold out sofa bed, flat-screen TV, small bath/shower, desk, wardrobe space, coffee-making facilities and enough room...
