Arrival: This was the forth hotel we stayed at (2 nights) as part of a 13 day “Highlights of Scandinavia” Trafalgar Cost Saver trip. As such we didn’t have to deal directly with the staff for check-in. The staff organised our room keys quite promptly and we were checked in within minutes.
Location: This hotel is across the road from the water of the fiord. It’s in the heart of what can only be described as a very small town. There’s really not a lot to do in and around town.
Accommodation: We had two nights at this hotel. Our room was on the second floor and a bit of a warning here if you have mobility issues because there were plenty of stairs you needed to climb to access everything from the lobby, to the your rooms and the restaurant. The room was quite a nice sized, with plenty of space to spread ourselves and suit cases out. The central heating (electric heater the full length of the room width window) worked very nicely.
