The staff were very good as was the food and the Art Nuvo style resturant. But room over priced £95 per night for double bed, toilet seat broken, bathroom door handle came off in your hand, bed not made , cups not washed up and bins still had rubbish when returning after day out. More

This 'hotel' is more of a pub/restaurant with rooms. The rooms are in an adjacent building and this means any noise from the pub is minimised. Stayed one night on the coast to coast walk in june. The double room was upstairs in a renovated house purposely built next door. The en suite bathroom was large with bath and WC and very clean with usual toiletries. The bedroom had a good quality flat screen TV and was clean and furnished to a high good quality standard....
