Me and 10 others stayed overnight here whilst we drove around the northern part of Spain on an annual car holiday. It is a real treat and I can thoroughly recommend it to all. The food is brilliant (and we were all foodie types) and we were lucky enough to be able to park our 'pride and joys' in the... More

Have stayed many times while travelling down to Marbella, its a great hotel, great rooms and has a underground car park (we get free as we are "Amigos of Paradores") worth joining if you use paradors a lot, we have also had free nights. Our problem with this hotel is the restaurant food, we have now started to have the... More

WOW this was a great surprise, the first Parador this year after driving and stopping through France and was not disappointing in any way. It’s pretty well in the middle of Spain and not a lot going on around in the small town. BUT if you want a quite relaxing and or romantic break then this one is worth looking... More

Impressive building with central cloister roofed over to form the lounge. In the centre of a small hill-top town. Very comfortable with all the usual Parador facilities, and a great place to sit and relax in. Not much to see or do in the town itself other than churches, closed order of nuns biscuit shop and bell towers full of... More

This was the third hotel, but the first parador, we stayed at and the bill ended up being no more than any of the other, less luxurious, hotels we used. We ate dinner in the restaurant - which was excellent - but you need to book as it is very busy. Buffet breakfast (included in our room rate) was the... More

This Parador was originally a ducal Palace and is a fantastic building. The rooms overlooking the Square were very well appointed with a small balcony. This is a large Parador and whilst we were there a large wedding was taking place, but this did not have any effect on our stay. More

We arrived on market day up a narrow steep cobbled street and had to negotiate the local traffic - some of whom had stopped en-route for a chat! As we got to the top of the street we got our first view of the Parador - wow! We parked the bikes in front of the hotel (literally) and were told... More

We stayed at the Lerma Parador for three nights, September 2011. It is a magnificent hotel, with great service in a town that is a perfect Spanish setting. Two hours north of Madrid on the A-1 highway; right along the highway, it is easy to find and navigate a place to park. Our room was very clean, large, with a... More

A great hotel with fantastic outlooks. We arrived on a Thursday - market day - parking was chaotic and no assistance from the staff was forthcoming or was the underground parking mentioned. We stayed under the Golden Day promotion and were given a room on the 4th floor which was comfortable. However we became aware of church bells ringing very close... More

Parador Lerma is one of the classic gems of the government chain of hotels converted from historic buildings. This one is a former ducal palace (16th Century, I believe). Beautiful public rooms, fine restaurant with excellent Spanish cuisine, including vegetarian and special diet options. Our room was under the "Golden Age" discount, but was as nice as any luxury room... More
