My family and I stayed here for two nights in April 2009 as part of a small group tour. Some reviewers have correctly pointed out some aspects of the hotel that could be improved. The furnishings are basic; some facilities did not work; standards of hygiene are not as high as in the West. But cut them some slack. The... More

The only good thing about this place is his location. We went there because it was recommended by Alastair Sawday's book , unfortunately we got an old edition. This hotel probably was good a couple of years ago. Now : big spiders in the room, big rat in the dining room , rat poison on the room floor, dirt in... More

This lodge has a beautiful location on a hillsaide above a river BUT it is run down and ill-tended. The vegetation and trees in the grounds have been allowed to grow wildly which means they prevent any views from the cottages or the rooms. The swimming pool is being ' refurbished' wnich means that there is not a pool as... More

This place is a hidden gem in the middle of nowhere, but can be reached if you're driving from Naini Tal to Ramnagat. We stayed here as part of a tour group. It's a small lodge with about 8 rooms. We arrived here late at night after an overnight train journey the night before - to be welcomed by so... More
