“If you are looking for peace and relaxation this is a hidden gem!”

I stayed here with my wife and can tell you the place, the rooms and the view is very good, but beware the hotel is far away from the mall road and in the off season they have no shuttle to the mall road, luckily I came with a driver and a car, since I was there in the off season I got a heavy discount, the hotel is situated at a very silent and peaceful location, rooms are BIG, clean and with beautiful wood work, food is good but limited, don't go by the menu they have only limited stuff and the service is slow, but the staff is very courteous and that makes up for it, they have free parking and a heater in the room. More

“let down, disrespectful and terrible customer relations”

entering the gate of 'the hive' gives you a feeling of leisurely home stay but the moment we asked for our room, the concierge stated that our reservation was bumped since our travel agent did not confirm our reservation. The concierge offered a 'temporary room' as they are unable to accommodate us and said the room is small but is in a nook with a view but private. My partner and i were tired from the long week but still went for a long drive up Nainital very much looking forward for a weekend R&R . We went to the room and saw that it was a small extension room of the owner' suite. It was dingy with dirty mats and washroom, a closet that was locked and private items which we gather belong to the owner's children. we were thinking it its not a playroom its likely the 'nanny's room'. We went back to talk to the concierge and my partner courteously said that it is unacceptable and stated the dirty mats, closet and all. The concierge said that they have nothing to offer and...
