The Grand Hotel is wonderfully grand with a soaring central atrium where breakfast is served. It is completely charming in a delightfully antique way. The greeting was warm, the breakfast plentiful (if too expensive), the public spaces were welcoming and thoroughly attractive. Our corner room was spacious, clean, and adequately furnished with a mini bar and a small seating area.... More

The lobby and communal areas are lovely but bedrooms are basic. Cheap rickety furnishings. Very little in the way of toiletries. However room was clean with aircon and a mini bar. didn't eat in hotel so can't comment on food. Location was central and there was secure parking. I thought it was a little over priced. More

All phone lines had been down that morning in Sete so we arrived without a reservation looking like a couple of scruffs as we'd just completed a six day bike trip from Toulouse down the Canal du Midi. Fortunately they had a room and seemed totally unfazed by the state of us! The room was very comfortable with good beds... More

A perfectly good hotel at a good price. Best alternatives in Sete would have been self-catering in Mont St Clair area (preferable over the abundant over-development at La Corniche) Convenient for Sete train station but a good 1 hour walk to the beaches at La Corniche. Having just come from a 4 star hotel in Paris we did notice the... More

Great location. Loved style of our room, had nautical theme. Great bathroom, obviously recently updated. Great AC in the room. First morning had breakfast out, best bet we could find was just to get a baguette from a boulangerie. So ate in hotel the second morning to save hastle of looking for something. Reserved nearby parking through hotel also. More

It was our first visit to Sete. We had a room on the second floor with a balcony over looking the canal. We were checked in immediately, hotel staff was very accommodating-- they gave us towels for beach and assist us with getting a local rose chilled to enjoy in the room. The room was very nicely appointed, the bathroom... More

This is the third time I've stayed in Sete. (I've come a long way from the youth hostel in the '60s!) This is a well-run, clean, spacious hotel with a "to-die-for" location on the canal. They've managed to combine an old-world feel with modern conveniences and decorative touches. Would recommend this hotel without hesitation. More

we stayed one night on our way to Beziers airport. The interior of the hotel is a very interesting mix of traditional and modern design. One couple had a traditional room, another a very modern room. Both were very beautiful. Parking is available very nearby at 9 euro per night, not suitable for wide cars. The restaurant in the hotel... More
