this is a very nice place to stay! but a bit far from Rabat. they were very responsive to my e-mails Service was good: one of the staff took me to the bank when I realised they did not take credit cards. As a business traveller, this is a bit small & far: you're not going to meet a lot... More

We loved Riad à la Belle Etoile. There was no request we made that the staff did not do everything possible to accommodate. The Riad is an oasis which surpassed all of our expectations from setting, the beautiful decor, the service. We would absolutely recommend this place to anyone. More

The staff were friendly and helpful. The roof terrace was ideal for sitting and relaxing as well as to contemplate sun set over the ocean. Beautifully appointed hotel, a really tranquil oasis in the médina of Salé. More

Though the staff at this Riad were wonderful and made our stay bearable, we left feeling that our accomodation over the 9 days we stayed there was one big rip off. The pictures on the website do not do justice to the rather dark and gloomy rooms, the overflowing shower facilities, the lack of hot waters for showers (daily). There... More

We enjoyed out 2 night stay at this guesthouse. We had great difficulty finding the house, not helped by a day of terrible rain but when we finally arrived the housekeeper/cook had done everything possible to make us feel comfortable and welcome. The building itself is unique and the renovation has been tastefully completed. There is heating in the bedrooms... More

We had a very brief occasion to stay at this riad while passing through Rabat. Communication for our booking over email was perfect. The riad is located in the area of Sale, across the water, and has marvelous views of the medina and ocean from the rooftop terrace lounge area. We arrived late in the evening and checked out the... Entering this Riad took my breath away, its so beautiful. The food was delicious, the bed very comfortable, the staff incredibly polite and friendly. An oasis of quiet and calm in the Rabat medina. My only advice is to get a suite upstairs----away from the living space and so a little more private. More

Rabat was our first encounter with Morocco. After much online searching, we stumbled onto this lovely Riad. From the onset we had a good feeling about the place. We received an immediate and professional response from owners Sophie and Stephane. They sent us a customized confirmation complete with a detailed map to give to our taxi driver upon arrival at... We booked for two nights for early October via email about two months before setting off. We got the email confirmation from the owners quickly and thought all were fine. The riad was not easy to find according to my petite taxi driver. After spending about half an hour (and 50Dhs that he charged us) for a trip only 5-10... More

This was the best place we stayed while in Morocco. It is a traditional Moroccan Riad (like a Bed & Breakfast) with fantastic architecture and decor. The atmosphere is very casual, and Sophie and Stephane will make you feel at home. Breakfast is included, but be sure to have a homecooked dinner served on the roof. The candlelight and evening...
