Let me begin by thanking Mintokling for making our stay in Gangtok a real pleasure. Spacious and well appointed rooms, excellent room service and very personalised approach to tour management gets them the kudos. I, my wife and 12 year old son spent 3 nights and have carried back good memories of our stay and visits to places of interest... More

Chose Mintokling Guest House after extensive research on trip advisor. It thoroughly deserves its Rank as Gangtoks No. 1 B&B Place. the hospitality of the sister & brother Duo of Pema & Tenzing is immaculate. Staff are courteous and friendly & not "in your face" eager to please. Room are Spotless clean. Food is homely - not exotic. Mintokling situated... More

Close to town if you don't mind a steep walk of 75 metres and flight of 100+ steps to cut through to Tibet Road then a similar distance and terrain that drops you into the main pedestrianised shopping mall. Very pleasant service. Meals are extra but good quality and reasonably priced. Easy to catch taxis from the front gate if... More

It was raining when we were there and we have the ground floor room and felt a bit humid w/o a fan or A/C. Heater cost an extra Rs 100/ night and worked okay. Nice sized rooms with plenty of windows and your basic clean. No wi-fi, internet available at the office at Rs 80/hr, but manager was nice to... More

On our recent trip to Sikim we found this place by chance and could only stay one night as they were fully booked. When we stayed we could understand their popularity. Very friendly at reception and in the dining room. A well designed and very attractive room, I expecially liked the painted window frames. Most important of all, a view... More
