We decided to stay here for 3 days based on Fabulous recomendations from various guide books. This was probably the biggest error we made. The property is in very bad shape. Staff ,from Manager to sweeper, are totally uninterested in doing their job. Reception was converted to a staff bedroom with matresses lying on the floor. Nobody was around when... More

Mt. Narsing Village Resort is located on a hill-top in an erstwhile tea-garden near the town of Ravangla in eastern Sikkim. We were a family group of five(5) and had stayed for 2-nights in 2 cottages (attached bath/shower & geyser and with a nice verandah) bult on the hill-side - at a higher level than the other cottages. The view... More

We stayed on the last day of our weeklong trip, and were looking forward to a simple and relaxing stay. We had called and emailed to the email provided to confirm our trip. But when we arrived, the manager had not heard about our booking. the room we were given was a "Super" deluxe. But it turned out to be... More

We had planned to stay for a week and had 100% paid in advance as required by the resort. The stay was so bad, we cut it short and decided to forego the advance rather than ruin our holiday. Positive: Great view of the Kanchanjunga range of mountains. Negatives: The manager, when approached for anything, will talk to you for... More

We stayed at the Annexe which is a steep 1 km ride up a gravely track and the view that greets you when you hit the property is very rugged and 'outdoorish'. There is a wide open space from where one can just gaze at the majestic mountain range. The cottages are basic and have a run down feel. The... More

Breathtaking views of the Singalila Mountains in a beautiful, remote setting. Originally a tea garden the main resort area is a collection of cottages around a beautiful flower garden (lovely flowers in Spring). The rooms are simple, but all have bathrooms, hot water and plenty of blankets to keep you warm. I stayed in a cottage on the hillside and... More

This resort ( I stayed in Annexe, please make sure you ask for it), is situated at a fantastic location. The location is kind of a table top and good altitude. The rooms are basic with no frills but clean. The rooms and the restaurant area have been modeled on Village homes. The Bathrooms are clean with shower, Hot water... More

Our journey to Ravangla was a journey to the land of unmatched beauty. It took us a little over 4 hours from Bagdogra Airport to reach the sleepy little town of Ravangla, located in Southern Sikkim. At 8 PM, everything was closed and we had no clue about the direction of the resort. Wrapped in fog, the hilly trails were... More
