Overall, the experience has been good, especially the view side deluxe rooms. Food had variety and the ambience was great to njoy the evening. The view side of the Orchid hall- DIning Lounge is great especially in the morning. Food was a mix of both north indian & good south indian food.

Modern, away from hustle and bustle, nice mountain view when clear, but weather not that good for our stay, strange music choice at breakfast, lukewarm food as always, bedroom walls thin, but on the whole comfortable - though a curtain was hanging from rail. Avoid noisy rooms near casino.

Lovely rooms, we stayed on the fourth floor which had a nice corridor-each floors' design is completely different from the other floors', providing uniqueness in different parts of the hotel. Rooms are clean, service is good as is the view. A casino on the premises is an added attraction. The chef is the helpful sort, willing to rustle up meals, esp fr kids who are fussy eaters. While the drive down is steep through winding narrow lanes, walking is easier. Not too far from MG Road and the rope car.

Best Place to stay in Gangtok. The Service and Food are very good. Any item you choose from the Buffet or from the Menu Card you will enjoy. Try your hand in the Casino, just for fun. Do not get into the Casino for winning. If you win or loose dont bother.
