We stayed here for 3 nights, hotel location is good. Hotel entrance door in Sikkimese style and connect with the bridge. We are 3 persons, the manager gave us tripple room but that room so tiny and smelly(room no 301) then we ask for change the room so we changed to twin bed room with window and added mattress. Located by M.G. Marg Road but the rooms by the road are a bit noisy. Choose the room on the opposite side of the road. Mingma, the hotel manager is the most friendly hotel staff I ever met. He is also very helpful. Other staff is also excellent and provide correct information. However, some rooms have got a bit old... More

During my B'school days, as always we embarked on the journey to Sikkim with only planning being a train ticket (for returning) and that too 234 WL. Leveraging the various modes of transport (read public bus, cramped jeeps and sumos), we managed to reach Gangtok from Kolkata. Equipped with a Lonely Planet, we reached this place and were turned down!!!... More
