“Fine budget hotel at very good location”

In the heart of the old ' French' quarters this might be one of the best budget options in Pondicherry. The rooms are not much special, a bit small, but location, price and service are the main reasons (for me) to stay here, and to return when I go back to Pondicherry. More

“Damp rooms, very noisy.”

When we first checked in I was impressed with the shiny tiles on the floor and the cleanliness of the bathroom. The staff were friendly, the bed had clean sheets and a think mattress, it was easy to order food and drinks to the room, and the location is great as it is just a short walk to the sea... More

I would not recommend this place despite it being listed in the Lonely Planet. We arrived very early (around 6am) and therefore didn't want to go round waking all the other hotels at such an hour. The room wasn't worth 600Rs, was ok but there were 3 cockroaches living in the bathroom. Worst of all was the guy who ran... More
