That was my first South Indian Tour besides Chennai. When we asked the auto-driver at the Bus-stand to take us to any hotel, he said that all hotels in Pondi were FULL and if didn't have a booking it was better we go back or take a hotel outside Pondi. We went to a few hotels nearby but was denied...

we landed there in the morning.The guy at the reception was helpless in arranging any thing for us as he told the check in time is 12'0clock.we were kind of helpless like where to go and what to do till 12 noon.May be because of the new year eve all rooms would hve been booked.
