THIS hotel was not worth the $40 dollars a night! Ive stayed in bicer hotels in the US for that amount. This is a $15 a night hotel. The rooms are small and run down, the bathroom dirty and gross. However, the food at the restaurant was very good. the Naam was awesome and so was the chai. Cheap too! More

We booked this hotel as a stop over on our way back to Delhi and booked a deluxe ac room , we knew Siliguri has nothing going for it so weren't expecting much although this made it worse than we were expecting. The hotel is very dark and dingey, tired looking too as if it could be used for 'sleepovers'.... More

The room was clean, but small. For rupees 1700, it was expensive. There was no room cleaning and I had to ask for it. Geyser did not work, so had to call up the front desk about it also. The guests were unruly, making noise and playing loud music till late in the night. Food was just ok, nothing to... More

We picked this hotel based on previous reviews. However during our 6 night stay we had cold water for showers 2 of 5 days after we made the staff aware of the problem on the first day. The food was good in the restaurant, but the speed of service and accuracy of the order was inconsistent during our 6 night... More

Hotel staff was very pleasant and friendly. Quick check in at very reasonable rates. he doorman was excellent. Extremely helpful and kind. I checked in and wasn't sure what to expect. (I've long learned that the lobby can be nice but the rooms terrible). This was not the case with this hotel. It was extremely clean, including the bathroom. I... More

I stayed at Hotel Appolo with my family and in-laws (group of 7 of us) in two rooms on November 9 and 13. Rooms were very clean and comfortable and provided a good nights sleep and plenty of hot water for showers. Included breakfast was good and meals in the restaurant were of a high quality and reasonably priced although... More

Generally used for business travellers, the hotel charges 10% service charges, 12.4% VAT, 4% Luxury charges and what not. The rooms are stuffy and the day we stayed there was some construction work going on which made the room simple unbearable to stay in. Repeated complains yielded no results and we had to check out early. The service is poor... More

We used this hotel as a stopover from Sikkim before catching a flight from Bagdogra. It is located directly along the highway, so expect some noise and hence a lower sleep quality. The rooms are quite ok with all wooden finishings. Large and comfortable beds, but again a lot of noise from the main road. Food from the restaurant is... More

Just in agreement with the review 'A good stay', having stayed 5 nights there. Siliguri is worth only a day's exploration before moving on to the himalayas. The Apollo is a nice clean base away from the squalor outside, with a good clean kitchen serving good food in a nice restaurant. Staff are friendly & efficient. The whole impression is... More

The stay was good and services above expectation. The front desk very prompt and roomservice good. the bar [--] restaurant above average. The rooms clean and comfortable. It is a hotel which justifies the price charged. You are getting the best at the price you pay. The best place to stay if you are on your way to Darjeeling and Sikkim... More
