to be fair, the heavens were throwing water down as we arrived. the pitches had no grass and were just mud... not ideal... decidedly worn out... better sites we had passed along the way. facilities ok but expensive for what it is, other top ten sites have better value. but when the sun came out it lifted our spirits too.... Waihi Beach Top 10 Holiday resort is a great resort to visit with family and friends. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the facilities are very clean, tidy and in good condition. Pool's warm to even on wet day you can do something. The indoor play area's huge and great for little ones. They've got a great indoor area for adults & older kids too. A great all-rounder! More

Great place to stay. Kids rated it as 'The best campground in the world'. Heated Pool with Slide and toddlers area, Spa Pool, wicked playground and jumping pillow. We stayed in a studio park motel, which was lovely and clean. The staff were friendly and polite. A very short walk to Waihi beach at the end were the lifeguards patrol. Great pool, barbeque facilities. Great place for couples, families and having a fun relaxing holiday. Highly recommended! More

I can't say enough about Waihi Top 10, our room was spacious, very clean and incredibly comfortable beds. The facilities in the camp are fantastic with a clean warm pool that has a great slide, a baby pool and hot spa for mum and dad, the playground is also great.
