We had a week at this hotel beautiful building, we thought quite stylish. Good size room with a fridge & balcony with a sea view. We were on a half board baisis, food was OK, some very good bits but other things less good. Cava with breakfast some mornings is a nice touch. With the evening meals the house wine... More

We have just spent a week at the Rio Calma Hotel in Fuerteventura. It is a beautiful hotel in a lovely setting. The hotel is well maintained, as are the grounds and gardens. Our room was spotlessly clean with sea view. We were on halfboard basis, but all inclusive would have been better as there were no bars or restaurants... More

If your going on holiday to do and see nothing then this is the place to go. The hotel is perfect. Great pools, great food and never a shortage of sunbeds. If your looking to do more than lounge by the water getting a tan and going to the spa then this is NOT the place for you. Read reviews... More

Had fond memories of this place after visiting it a couple of years ago. This time around however, we were disappointed!!! Essentially, this was because of: - Poor customer service. Staff on reception very surly and abrupt. On arrival, we were told that the 'My style' package that we had been sold in the UK was not the package we... More

This is a terrific hotel and have very little to add as most of the recent reviews are spot on. The hotel grounds, pools and food were terrific. We experienced no problems with grumpy staff - they aren't particularly effusive but weren't rude either. Our only disappointment was the "resort" of Costa Calma resort. In retrospect, we perhaps should have... More

This hotel has lovely green grounds on the otherwise desolate rock that is Fuertaventura. Please bear this in mind, because if you go for anything else - culture, night life, gourmet cuisine, high class entertainment - you will be disappointed. If you want a week to systematically tan every inch of your body and perhaps cool off in a lovely... More

We stayed for a week at the end of March. This is more of a resort than just a hotel, with a lot of facilities. Standards were high throughout. The buildings and grounds are kept immaculately. The food was generally of excellent quality (although their preparation of cuts of meat did not reach Waitrose standards) and there was a huge... More

The hotel is very attractive, probably one of the best looking on the island and the pool and beach area are excellent and well designed. The hotel attracts a very high proportion of German tourists and a much lower number of English so you need to be up early to get those sunbeds ! Evening entertainment was dodgey to say... More

We had one of the best holidays ever and so pleased we chose this hotel. It was in a fantastic location and not too far from the beach - it was a lovely 10 min or less walk to the beach and such a beautiful beach!!! Some people have said it's not in a good location but I disagree. If... More

Ken & Elaine, Portstewart. Stayed at this hotel for 2 wks, half board March 2012. On arrival we were booked in by a very sour, unsmiling receptionist. The room was well furnished but we had specified a double bed and got two singles pushed together which was extremely uncomfortable especially as we were there for two weeks. Room had a... More
