That was a terrible hotel in a beautifull island. The only reason I chose that hotel was a previous possitive experience with the Louis group. I've been in lodgings, back in the U.S.A. when I were younger, that were better and cleaner than the Helios. Definitely not a "Category A" hotel.

we stayed sept 2006.
room clean and reasonable. bottle of wine provided but no opener and no one intrested in opening the bottle either.
reception staff opten rude and abrupt.
if you like butlins this is the holiday for you.
very down market, loud with 70's disco music and loud children's entertainment consatntly.
beach is not attached to the hotel...

if you want to be treated well and with respect and descency then i suggest you do not stay at the 'louis helios'.
