Great location and historic building in the beautiful village of Halford. What can i say, the food was grade A. the service was even better and the building was full of English charm and character. The charming Girl who showed us around the building and shared some of the history with us was a delight to behold.Great beers on tap and... Extremely friendly team. Have stayed in Must be Nuts suite. Very spacious. great bed. Fantastic place for a romantic getaway. Had a pick at all other rooms - small but well appointed and comfortable. More

Spent a fabulous couple of days at the Halford Bridge in a fantastic suite with every convenience. Food brilliant (in fact sublime) - really recommend the Prawns in a chilli dip. Staff very friendly and we wanted for nothing. More

Ate here after a hefty 10 mile walk, and loved the food. Plentiful portions, original menu, really well cooked and good value. Very busy for a Tuesday night, and we were happy to get a table. Alexandra who is running the place is a bundle of energy and nothing is too much trouble....she insisted on giving me a fresh glass... More

After much scouring of the internet, my husband stumbled across the Halford Bridge on Laterooms. He wanted to take me away for a night to celebrate my birthday and was looking for somewhere with a restaurant and bar. The reviews on TripAdvisor were pretty good and so he booked the "Must be Nuts" suite following a recommendation in one of... More

We called in on the offchance for a meal. Great pub, excellent food and service. Extremely helpful, friendly and proficient staff. Highly recommended. We shall certainly return when we are once again in that neck of the woods. More

From the friendly greeting on arrival to the end of our stay, we could find no fault with this property. We had booked one of the suites and in addition to the large bathroom, found it to be two areas - one with television, 2 sofas and several small tables, the other with a large, extremely comfortable bed, etc. (we... Stayed 3 nights midweek as visiting Stratford and surrounding areas. Building and decor both fantastic, food was of high standard and locally sourced (only one vegetarian option, but chef threw together a lovely pasta when asked) - dining room was busy every night we were there. The room was fantastic - we had the suite off the courtyard and were... More

We almost didn't stay here due to the 5 'terrible' rated reviews, especially the one that says it's really noisy. We couldn't have had a more different experience. We had such a fantastic stay that we felt compelled to write our first trip advisor review, to make sure you don't avoid it as we almost did. The road was completely... More

We stayed in the Old Manor House right behind this place. It was the only place that served dinner in the area but it was not disappointing at all. Different dinner's every night. Locally sourced produce was a real bonus. I had the steak on the last night and it was pretty damn good. Totally worth it, if you are... More
