This place was amazing, the only downfall (if there had to be one) was the location. It was about 2 blocks away from the main drag in Kamari. Which was actually nice so it wasn't busy by our hotel. The hotel itself was beautiful, the rooms were nice and the bathrooms were good. Thank goodness for air conditioning. More

This hotel wasn't our favorite. The room itself was spacious, but fairly bare. The bed was unbelievably hard, as were the linens. The bathroom was large, and spacious. We were on a ground-level room, and I noticed a large number of ants were in the room on the floor near the door. On a positive note, the pool area and... More

This hotel has some very nice public areas. It is a short walk to the beach promenade and also to the bus station in town, where you can catch a bus to other areas on the island. The buses are inexpensive and clean. Effie, who works at the front desk at the Hermes is super helpful and knowledgable about the... More

We loved being only a short walk to the Black Beach and its restaurants and shops and feeling safe to walk back to the hotel, even late at night. The hotel staff was awesome both, Maria and Effie, who even checked our room safe for us, when we discovered we had left a ring in the safe. She found the... More

... And not just because we had a free upgrade due to no more standard rooms being available upon check-in (king bed, private balcony with jacuzzi). That was just for the first night. Even the standard room was better than other places we stayed (Athens and Mykonos). We had an actual queen-sized bed, rather than two twins pushed together as... More

The staff at Hermes, especially Effy, made this stay very enjoyable. They were most helpful with directions and recommendations. Our room was a little larger than usual, with a very usable deck for sitting or drying clothes. The pool was very nice. The shape was a bit awkward for swimming, but the water temp was just right, and there were... More

Lovely small hotel so staff know everyone and are very friendly. Rooms are clean and roomy. Take a kettle (typical Greek I believe). Sunbeds always available (in September anyway) The location is great, a few minutes walk from the beach which is lined with lovely Tavernas (except ZORBAS) worst service I have encountered ANYWHERE in the world! We hired a... More

Just returned from a week stay and enjoyed every minute. All staff were friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. The rooms were spotless and cleaned everyday with fresh towels and sheets. Food was fantastic from snacks to main meals. The gardens and swimming pool area were kept immaculate and a pleasure to stay in. Overall a brilliant place... More

Good Hotel, nice friendly staff, but disappointed on arriving at 9pm from Airport and no food available. Obviously tired from the flight we had to go out and find a place to eat. Whenever i have arrived late at any other Hotel , due to circumstances beyond our control, food has been available. The Hotel realise this particular flight arrives... More
