I stayed a couple of nights in an 8 bed dorm. I arrived early but was unable to check-in until around 2pm. it's a two-storey wooden house in Mt Cook Valley. The living room and kichen were warm, clean and the staff were friendly. The beds were so comfortable! Love the whole concept of the cozy wooden cabin dorms. Rooms and all sharing facilities were extremely clean. Great hostel. Small and cosy, without being overcrowded. Although I was in an 8 share dorm, there was still plenty of space. Great kitchen and bathroom facilities. Lots of information and very friendly staff to help with 'what to do'. Great location too!

Lovely hostel with food supplies for sale at reception, nice kitchen, nice staff, nice sauna and all you want from a hostel. Atmosphere very friendly and relaxed. Kitchen& rooms nice and clean. Easy to find.

Arguably one of the prettiest spots on the South Island, especially if you love snow covered peaks. The hostel was a great value - there were a lot of people there but it never felt crowded. Rooms and bathrooms were clean and quaint. Quick 5 minute drive to hiking trails and the restaurant.

It is a good location in Mt Cook but just so many tourists and too crowded. The facilites is ok but the kitchen can be more stove and equipments. One day is enough. It would be nice to have more toilets and shower rooms.And the triple room is extremely small,very uncomfortable.
