Stayed here one night on 15 December. The hotel has a good location only 30 mins drive from York. Room was basic but clean as you would expect for £54 room only. Rooms were clean and spacious, good family room. Staff were very pleasant. Evening meal not brillant but there is a Frankie and Benny's just a mile down the road, will remeber that for next time. Good place to stay to visit York.

We were warmly greeted and the staff were efficient. Our room was excellent. Big and spacious. We paid for breakfast, however we were disappointed with the size of the full english breakfast. The black sausage was missing and we were only offered one hot drink each
