I had a good experience at the Greenmount Lodge. Although the rooms and the décor was a bit out dated, the bed rooms are very large, as is the breakfast area. The Greenmount is located well away from town. It is very quiet and pastoral. The host was pleasant and had a detailed knowledge of local history. The only downside is that the closest restaurant is a few miles away and it is not very good.

Stayed here a few weeks ago and found it to be like a typical rural irish lodge. The owners were friendly and made a wonderful breakfast - homemade breads were particulary tasty! Rooms were spacious and beds comfortable, just a little dated. It's a shame the tennis court was not operational but overall, a good stay.
