A friend and I stayed with Maeve and Joe for a few days in the first week of November, 2011, but this was my second stay at Cruckawn House. I stayed there with my family in May of 2007, while we tried to help my mother locate relatives. We came to Tubbercurry without any real expectations, since we had very... More

I have been coming back to Cruckawn House over the last ten years for the South Sligo Summer School in July. I have also stayed there several times outside the music week. This is a fantastic place to stay where you during the music week can meet musicians from different countries who play Irish Traditional Music. Maeve and Joe are... More

Mauve and Joe are the most gracious people we have met in Ireland! They accomodated to capacity our family and embraced us into their community of Tubbercurry. Meeting the local pub owner ( and dancing with her...82? ) and the pipers, fiddle and bodrahn players, the dancers... a super Irish meal...chillin out in their sunroom like we were all one... More

We had the most incredible, traditional evening in Ireland thanks to Joe and Maeve! I contacted them by email asking if they could accomodate a group of 19 Canadian tourists looking for live music and a place to stay. Maeve, without hesitation, welcomed as many of us in her house as she could fit then coordinated the accomodations for our... More

My mother (87) and her husband spent a lovely few nights at the Cruckawn House in August 2011. Maeve and Joe were wonderful to them. Their first trip to Ireland and this B&B was a highlight. More

Maeve and Joe Walsh are like everyone's favorite aunt and uncle! They went out of their way to take us to local music and drama events, helped us locate locate relatives, and encouraged us to have these relatives come to the Inn to visit with us! Maeve is also very particular about ironing her sheets and making fresh bread every... More

Joe & Maeve greeted us with a very warm welcome and we really enjoyed the beautiful tray of homemade cakes and tea when we had settled in. The rooms were nice laid out and clean, if however on the smallish side, as were the shower rooms, expect that when you arrive in Ireland the bedrooms and bathrooms are all small... More
