We were only visiting Assisi for less than 24 hours whilst on our travels in Italy. This was to visit the war cemetery to pay respects to a relative buried there. (The cemetery is about a 25 minute walk away). We had booked this hotel several months in advance and chose it because of its location to the railway station....
