Lucinda's was a last-minute choice and we were delighted at what fate dealt us. Lucinda herself is warm and welcoming. The facility (built as a B&B) is well thought-out and very gemütlich (look that up in your Funk and Wagnalls). Lucinda puts out good (local) wine and snacks late afternoon, and breakfast was more than enough and very tasty. But... More

A touch of paradise awaits you in the foothills of the Sierras, located between Sacramento and Lake Tahoe, Lucinda’s Country Inn. The entire experience is one to cherish, the unique rooms, the wonderful breakfasts prepared by Lucinda and Daryl, the breath-taking setting, the wine country and gold towns close by make this visit a must. Cindy and Daryl were excellent hosts. The breakfast each day was fantastic. We felt right at home in the Vineyard suite, very spacious and comfortable. Lucinda's Country Inn makes the perfect place for exploring this area! More

Cindy and Daryl run a very nice operation for anyone visiting the foothills. Great location to take advantage of the area. They helped with planing outings and also had some nice recommendations. Have Cindy help you with a picnic lunch! There were 6 of us traveling, and everyone had good comments about this place, I think that says it all. More

We stayed two nights and cannot lavish sufficient praise. The room (Beate suite) was spacious and well laid out. Everything you could possibly want was provided: fireplace, balcony, deep tub, huge shower stall, plenty of seating, enormous tub with bubble bath and (electronic) candle, lashings of hot water, bath robes, coffee maker, coffee, cream, bottled water, soda, snacks, DVD player... We were traveing with 2 other couples for a Poker Run wine tasting weekend. Great common area to visit and relax after a long day of tasting and eating. Rooms were very large, very comfortable and wonderful beds. Breakfast was delicious, great way to start the day. I would highly recommend staying whether it be one night or a week.... More

My friend and I were fortunate to find accommodation (at the last minute) at Lucinda's. After a lovely drive through the countryside we arrived and were shown to a perfect cottage with a porch, kitchen, sitting area, separate bedroom and huge bathroom with a fireplace. Lucinda and her husband were the best of hosts, friendly and helpful with advice on... More

Our trip was an overnight getaway. We were welcomed by Cindy, slept like babies on the most divine sheets and enjoyed a delicious breakfast that kept us going through an afternoon of wine tastings. Highly, highly recommend the Inn. More

On a recent trip to San Francisco and wine country, we had the remarkable pleasure to stay at Lucinda's Country Inn. The rooms were actually suites with lots of room. There was a very nice common area as well, with many amenities. Lucinda and Daryl were great hosts, with excellent food and great insight into wine. I give them my... More
