As a family we chose Didim in Bodrum due to costs to Antalya. The Apollon Holiday Village is great for all ages with the swimming pools been the highlight. However if you have young children with babies the way to get round to see places is by bus or taxi but very cheap. 100 Lira is the taxi cost to the main strip or the night market which is a must. We walked to the main strip by the beach took about an hour in the evening when cooler. Bars restaurants and night market open till 1am Billy's is the restaurant on site at Apollon village nice food, very helpful with taxi ect. Great place over all just a bit far from restaurants supermarkets and shops. Shopping is amazing, plenty of bartering to do to get the right cost. Enjoy

I have felt it only fair for people wishing to stay here that there is a problem. I have been informed by an apartment owner, that the POOLS are all EMPTY! This is because of apparent licensing need for the pools. I have been a visitor for the last six years and loved it every time. Unfortunately, this September we have had to find alternative accommodation, which still has a pool. Furthermore, the Free Shuttle Service has also been suspended.

Apollon Village, has a bus service to take you to the town, to the beach and any desired places you want to go to etc... I stayed at a friends own apartment so I could not comment about the hotel itself. Best place to be at the month of September Weather is very pleasant and not so scorchingly hot but still hot!! Love the food, very clean environment Very friendly people and so many places to eat!! Very nice market with lots of designer goods! Will come again!

The village had lots of annual visitors who were all extremely friendly. The free bus provided was not big enough to allow all passengers to get on. A taxi into the main town was approx eight pound. The village is out if the way for travellers who like to walk to local amenities and the shop on site lacks vital essentials.

It was amazing everybody there is really friendly especially Sonny, Chico, Rudy, Gerard, and every one else there I've loved my two weeks there! I would defiantly recommend it to any one. The apartment was amazingly clean. Even though we've stayed at two apartments there they've both been immaculate! All of the people are ace there and the food at the restaurant is spot on. You can also see them cooking the food it's really great!

Loads of pools great quiet location, free bus available to take you to Altinkum, which makes venue close enough to everything. Boat trips are fab water park 3 miles away. Mavisheir down road with night market is great. Complex is very welcoming. Can not fault it x

We go every year,it's a shame the staff change all the time because you get familiar with them. The pools are spotless but they could do with less trees and guards over the sprinklers, there's a lovely friendly atmosphere all the time, more for kids would be good xx

We have been to the Apollon Holiday Village twice and even though we stayed at 2 different apartments, they were both wonderful. The complex had at least 4 pools with lots of sun loungers to go around. There was a courtesy bus which runs throughout the day to Altinkum up to approximately 11pm. Both apartments were very clean and spacious. The complex was also very clean. The restaurant was very reasonably priced with good quality food being served. The onsite supermarket rates were very competitive. We would definitely recommend Apollon Holiday Village.

The pool small pool on phase 3 Is where a child was nearly electrocuted, he came out of the Pool and touched the railing by the restaurant and ended up in Hospital for 2 days, by the way the complex has no public liability insurance so holiday there at your own risk
