Te Kuiti is not a town for those traveling by foot as there are no taxi's or shuttles to the glow worm caves. True Kiwi hospitality was shown by our host Lorelle in helping us have an excellent visit nonetheless. A nice hotel near a great park and good espresso.

THe lodge is very clean and tidy with the rooms having all facilities required.
It make a great stopover in the car on the way to somewhere.
The lodge itself is just off the road in Te Kuiti - it is not tranquil with the trains and cars on either side, but it is nicely done and very convenient.

It is located onState Hwy 3 and surprisingly very quiet from road noise. The people working their were very friendly and helpful. Our main reason for the...

Forget the comments about the railway and the road, this is by far the best place in Tu Kuiti. There was only one train all night. Lovely modern units, big TV, large King size bed, uber clean. Be careful and try to avoid Sunday night in this town as there is b***** all places to eat if you do not...

This is really an excellently appointed motel and we enjoyed our stay there. It's very comfortable and fairly priced. The lady in charge was very friendly and informative. The only drawback is that it's on a busy, noisy, road and there's also a railway nearby. Take earplugs and it will be no problem!
