We booked our room late afternoon having only decided to travel a few hours earlier. I had tried to book the nearby Relais and Chateau hotel but that was full and we found this quite by chance. It is a little hidden away but worth the effort to find. You find a stunning position with glorious views and spectacular walks... More

Stayed at Scorrybreac this last week with my sister in a beautiful twin room overlooking stunning scenery. We left our curtains open so we could fall asleep and wake up looking out at the views! Hosts - Emma and Graham - were brilliant. Nothing too much trouble and an endless source of really helpful information on the various walks we... More

First time at Scorrybreac - will be back! Superb hospitality from Graham & Emma. Extremely helpful & excellent local knowledge. Spotless throughout, great location, superb views. Grreat food - the porridge is to die for! Thank you for everything (especially the taxi information when we phoned for help on one of our walks!) Karen Anderson, Kidderminster More

We have stayed at Scorrybreac 3 or 4 times now and would not consider anywhere else. The rooms are spotless and comfortable, the breakfasts superb with a good choice. Even the porrige exceeds expectations and is the perfect consistency. Emma and Graham are great hosts and little Holly their daughter is an absolute delight. The location within the old Hospital... Our second visit and we are trying to plan our third. Emma and Graham were lovely. The room was spotless and everything looked new. The shower was great with loads of hot water, just what you want after a day walking. Graham showed us various walks on a map and recommended places to eat. It was relaxing sitting in front... More

Stayed here twice, the first time it was OK although our small room was at the back, overlooking a very weedy bit of ground, and smelled very musty but we booked again because it was a time of year when many places were full or closed. We were greeted at the door with no polite pleasantries and instructed to fill... More

It is strange when you receive conflicting reviews from a guest six months after their stay. The comments left in our guest book when checking out read :- 10/10 house keeping, friendliness and fantastic location. After their first stay. And then, A lovely break, thank you! for their second stay. We have tried to contact this guest to get more... More

Stayed here for a night with my elderly mother and did find (as others have remarked) that it was slightly regimented. There are now 3 options for breakfast times and we did feel that we had to be there to the minute on our chosen one - every other B&B we stayed in on the holiday was either "turn up... More

On top of a hill, the Scorrybreac is a quiet and modern looking guesthouse. The room was just the right size. Spotless and immaculately clean. Beds very comfortable. The extra touch: bedside lamps which are switched on with a touch, handcream, a plastic tray where you are requested to leave your muddy walking shoes, home made yogurth for breakfast, a... More
