This hotel was excellent - the castle ruins were fun to explore and the view overlooking the Neckar river was superb. The rooms are timbered and our balcony overlooked the lush wooded surroundings. It was an amazing place.

We fell upon this place one day while driving toward Bavaria. It was getting late and time to find a place for the night. Using an old guide book, we drove up to the castle and were happy to get a junior suite for me, my husband and teenage son. We thought it was kinda neat staying at a castle....
