This hotel was a gem of a find. Went with friends for their second trip and can't wait to go back. Alison and Lyndsey are perfect hosts and the food was amaaaaaaaazing. Can't thank you enough ladies, Derek and I had a fab time. Would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a true Scottish welcome. Will be back in... More

I highly recommend the Fairwinds Hotel. For the last three years, a group of us travel from the U.S. to Carrbridge in October to participate in the World Porridge Making Championship--the so called "Golden Spurtle." We slept and had all of our breakfasts and dinners at the Fairwinds Hotel. It was so good, we wouldn't think of going elsewhere. Lindsay... More

We enjoyed three nights at the Fairwinds Hotel with Alison and Lindsay serving as gracious hosts. Our room was cozy and the food wonderful, but the hospitality was what will bring me back. Thank you for the sweet memories. More

Don't be put off by first appearances at this lovely hotel. The hotel is starting to look a bit tired in parts, but our room was large, spotlessly clean, very comfortable and with lovely touches like homemade shortbread and Arran Arromatics toiletries. The food was excellent, as was the service. The owners couldn't have done enough for us. We will... More

Alison and Lindsay are very helpful and generous hosts, who are happy to serve and meet all your needs. Many hotels in Scotland today could learn from their desire to offer a high level of service. Lindsay's cooking is lovely, fresh and imaginative. More

The householders are very attentive to all your need. The place is a little heaven in the large nature around. There is also an excellent restaurant where you can taste scottish dishes! We passed 4 days in two rooms: the largest one had also microwave, fridge and all necessary to eat without go outside. We are italian, so sometimes we... More

Just returned from a six night stay at the Fairwinds Hotel. The hotel is in a lovely quiet location set back from the main road offering a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. There is adequate car parking at the hotel. Every area that I saw within the hotel was very well maintained and clean. The rooms were cleaned daily, towels and... More
