small (10 rooms) and recently re-opened hotel in the nicest village (Hollum) of the small Island Ameland. The hotel has a strong feeling of a Bed & Breakfast, due to the fact that there is a very large living room with all amenities to spend a cosy evening (or even entire day; especially useful on one of those rainy days)... My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our weekend at Het Zeepaardje! Check-in was easy despite the fact that employees are not always at the hotel (a phone on the desk rings to the cell phone of a nearby owner). The hotel has a clean, modern design that is also cozy and a little bit quirky. Our room was absolutely gorgeous... More
