We've spent 6 days in this hotel in Odoorn. It was the second time. this time we choose for a so called executive de luxe room. these are located in a separate part of the hotel above the mainentrance.
Reception, just like the first time was good, a warm welcome, by the heart.....

I stayed here for the second time on a business trip. The hotel is modern and clean. nice hardwoode floor in the rooms (no carpet like in most hotels). Good bed.
Restaurant is OK, but basic dutch kitchen.

Very comfortable hotel on a nice location. Spacious room with terrace.
The restaurant offers good food in a nice atmosphere. Spacious lounge. Several biking routes cross in the village, so it's easy to have wonderfull tours through the woods.
Do not expect nightlife here. It's all quiet.

Odoorn is a very quiet village in the beautiful province of Drente in the Hondsrug region. Excellent for biking but do not expect a bustling entertainment environment, which in fact is not why you visit this region.

We stayed for 3 days in hotel Lubbelinkhof in Odoorn, 7 km from Emmen. We did visit a lot of hotels in Emmen the last years but this new hotel is great. Large rooms, a great restaurant and a great service.
