We only needed a place for a night and didnt need anything fancy. That's what we got though the price was definitely too high. This hotel has a lot going for it-fair price, comfortable beds, cleanliness, good location near the train.
However, the walls of the hotel are paper thin and a normal conversation in the room next door sounds like it's right in your room. So if you have neighbors like ours, who talked and laughed until 4am, then you will be up...

We stayed for four nights at the Alpes Hotel in October, 2008. The hotel is conveniently located right across the street from the train station, and easy walking distance to the small downtown area. Our corner room on the second floor was large enough, and had a desk, sofa and coffee table, as well as two twin beds put together....
