The staff, the grounds, the rooms, the food, the surroundings were all exceptional. We dined at Il Poggiale one evening and it was fantastic. The front desk clerks (Stefania, maybe?) were wonderful, always pointing us in the best direction for sights and food. We would stay here over and over. more

This place was even more beautiful than the picture. Everything from the views to the suite we stayed in. We stayed in the La Fonte dependence apartment and found it to be a home away from home. It was comfortable and had lots of space for three of us. The views of the Tuscan hills beyond were enjoyed from our bed! Situated in an olive grove we felt very private but still close enough to walk to the villa.... more
