My husband and I stayed fpr 3 nights along with our biking tour. We had a lovely stay. Hotel Palazzo Papaleo is really nice, and the lounge areas are very beautiful with old painted ceilings, which I loved. The managers and staff were very friendly, accomodating, helpful. The location of the hotel is spot on, as is the hotel itself - small but not cramped at all - and the room view overlooking the bay was splendid, and all the employees gave attention to detail that made the stay a sheer pleasure. more

A great hotel with wery welcoming staff and good attention to detail. The rooms are very charming and quiet; the delicious breakfast on the roof terrace -overlooking the old centre and the sea- just perfect! more

great location ... room are all right but nothing special (small and outdated decor) breakfast was highly dissapointing (not a taste of italy you would expect... but rather cheap mass market products) and most of all not really worth the money they're asking for!!! more

The only bad thing is the problems with luggages, the hotel is in the center of Otranto. No cars allowed. The service, anyway, help with the luggages both in arrival that in departures. The hotel interior (especially the public rooms) is stylish and beautiful, the roof top jacuzzi a nice touch. What we appreciated most however was the very friendly and helpful people working in the hotel who made our stay a really comfortable and home-like experience. more
