My mother and I chose this hotel as it was close to the area we were visiting on our genealogy trip. We spent 3 nights here and enjoyed them all. We were treated cordially, and enjoyed walking through the surrounding area. Be advised that there is a steep climb to your room, space is tight and a small bathroom, but everything was neat and clean. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. This was a refreshing experience away from the hustle and bustle of larger hotels and towns.
This hotel is not a place for those seeking entertainment and 24/7 service. It is a wonderful place from which to explore the countryside. more
