Truly we were very lucky to stumble on this excellent B&B place while searching the web. We liked the picture of an old mansion house and the description of Domfront, a medieval town where it is located. Our hosts, Michelle and Eric, made us feel welcome from the very first minute of our arrival to their house, meeting us at... more

We have just returned from two nights staying in Normandy at this beautiful Chambre d'hote. We took my Grandfather to visit the D Day beaches and couldn't have chosen a better place to stay. The owners Michelle and Eric were excellent hosts, they were very helpful and made us feel so welcome. The rooms were beautiful, looking out to the... more

Domfront is a charming, interesting little town set in very attractive countryside. The B&B is a lovely old Manor House, painstakingly restored by Eric and Michelle who are friendly, helpfull, but not intrusive. Our garden-view room was large, very comfortable, quiet, with excellent ensuite bathroom. A tour of the other three rooms showed similar comfort. Breakfasts are excellent. Very good value. Highly... more

After two hours of driving in a quite uninterresting landscape, our ecspectations where low both regarding town and B&B. But Domfront realy stands out as a beautiful little hamlet. The B&B was a litle bit difficult to find...our GPS didn't find the address but, the turist information was very helpful. The B&B was very nice as well as the hosts.... more

Absolutely brilliant place to stay, large room, immaculately clean with walk in wardrobe, tea/coffee maker, large bathroom. Friendly, nothing too much to trouble. Food above average. Travelled by motorbike and found everything available, garage, bike wash, drying room, all first class. Brilliant roads locally, sound advice from owner (fellow biker) on routes to takes, even get guided tour if you... more

Having planned a weeks biking in Normandy and Brittany, I was keen to pre-book the first nights' accommodation. Past experiences of the gamut of french B&B accommodation has taught me that: Price is no barometer, for cleanliness or appeal and neither is a building with a grand façade! I found the 'Normandy Town and Country' on a 'bike-friendly' hotel site... more

Great B & B in the centre of Domfront. Michelle & Eric looked after us really well and most importantly looked after our motorbikes which were securely parked in their garage, It was a great pleasure to be able to walk to dinner and a have a few drinks after a day riding around the NOrmandy country side. Attention to... more

This bed and breakfast hotel is beautiful. The family run house is decorated and furnished to a high standard, the bedrooms are SO comfortable and very pretty, the bathrooms are very clean and modern. The continental breakfast offered is huge and delicious, The hospitality offered made me feel at home from the moment I arrived to when I sadly had... more
