Location is on the side of a main road and 11 miles from the beaches but acts as a good base for day trips. The accommodation is clean, hot water all the time and the bungalows are large with friendly staff. Taxis to the beaches in Gokarna are 350IND each way which is affordable when only paying 1000IND a night... More

Very convenient location. It is located bang on NH 17 around 11 KM from Om beach. Its not a beach resort but more like a highway motel. Rooms are clean. Service is very good. Food was also good. Absolute value for money. More

we went to Gokarna with a group of friends for a weekend trip from Bangalore. As usual we decided at last minute and decided visit gokarna. First of all we didn't know much about gokarna. after reaching gokarna we tried few hotels. but non of them have clean rooms. at last from a local person got to know about makara... More

This is a decent Motel. They have 12 cottages and open air restaurant. They serve both veg and non-veg specially fresh sea food. The cottages are specious and clean. They have very frendly staff. More
