Had a staff retreat for my office at Saadani and it was incredible. Talking strategy by the beach can not be beat! We had wonderful working mornings and in the afternoon we partook of the various activities available at Saadani. My favorite was the river safari... which we took to the new Saadani River Lodge and got to have a... More

My wife and I stayed for three nights at the Saadani Safari Lodge at the beginning of November 2011 and it was, without exaggeration, simply the best holiday experience I have ever had in my life. We were treated like royalty and nothing was too much trouble for the friendly and hard working staff. The game drives were fantastic. We... More

We stayed at Saadani for 5 nights in early Jan 2011. I liked the idea of a beach holiday combined with safari on the doorstep. The place is attractive and well run with good food. Some of the best wildlife encounters are to be had in the restaurant with the visiting (and thieving!) monkeys and, at night, civet. (We were... More

It is true that if you are looking to get up close an personal with Lions, Rhino, Leopards etc then this is not the best choice for you. However having swapped stories with other travellers at our next destination (The Z Hotel Zanzibar) who had gone to The Serengeti and had to share their experiences with 'herds' of jeeps each... My husband couldn't possibly have had a more wonderful stay at the Saadani Safari Lodge! From the moment that Eliona picked us up at the airport to the sad moment that we had to leave the Lodge, everything was absolutely perfect! And we were even upgraded to a gorgeous Suite! Thank You!!! Every member of the Lodge Staff was incredibly... More

We arrive in Saadani National Park only to find Mukuti Lodge under constrution. Somehow our tour lack some information. We had no food or camping supplies. The town of Saadani does not have a commercial store. Stranded, we asked to eat at their restaurant. Saadani Safari Lodge charged us $25.00 US each for a small, cold meal of pasta and... More

Saadani Lodge was everything we’d hoped for with the exception of the animals. The Lodge has fantastic service from the moment you arrive, delicious food, and beautiful huts scattered along the beach. Waking up to the sunrise over the Indian Ocean is magical and we had the pool to ourselves for our whole visit. My birthday dinner was perfect -... More

We went to Saadani with my wife, for a real break, far from the kids. A week from xmas to nye. Saadani is a fantastic place. There is only 15 houses very well scattered along the beach. So you're always enjoying your privacy. Swim in one of the pools, relax on a sofa in the lounge, read on the beach...A-L-O-N-E.... More

What an amazing part of Tanzania. We arrived on a small (4 seater) plane to be greeted by our guide for our stay Sylvester. A short strip from the airfield- field literally! The lodge is a luxury version of Robinson Crusoe's pad! We stayed for 4 days and 3 nights. As the resort was quiet- early november is low season-... More
