This is a small hotel well placed for those travelling north of Inverness. Rooms are comfortable with adequate amenities. Showers are electric, TV's are small but the room represents excellent value for money. One of my big positives is free wi-fi with a good speed connection. Views from rooms at the rear of the hotle are excellent. Only ate breakfast... More

My wife & I had a very pleasant one night stay in this hotel - such a lovely setting - even got to stand at the back fence talking to a farmer who was walking his property checking fences and his sheep. Very scenic and we were lucky to arrive after the main summer rush was over - we felt... More

On our way to the Hebrides our group stayed overnight at the hotel. We were made welcome and our rooms were very good, with nice country views. The food at dinner and breakfast was excellent. After dinner we went to one of the small lounges that had a roaring fire to relax with a malt whisky - the bar had... More

Just back from a weekend in Kinkell House. The hotel was lovely, with warm, clean rooms. The staff were friendly and efficent. The only minor criticism is that the menu could have been more varied from one night to the next, having said that, the food was excellant. We would love to return and have no problem reccomending the hotel... More

We stayed for 2 nights at the Kinkell House hotel while visiting friends in the area. It was a lovely quiet area but a bit further out of Dingwall than we expected but only 5-10 minute drive away (£15 in taxi). The hotel is very homely with nice cosy rooms. We were in room 5 which was a double, very... More

My Husband and I stayed here whilst visiting friends in the area and couldn't have been more surprised by the quality of everything within the hotel. The service, room, food and views were all fabulous and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. The breakfast was enormous and the Mussels the best we have ever had anywhere. We would reccomend... Stayed here prior to a friends Birthday. Arrived late but was greeted by Jamie the hotel manager who couldn't have done enough for us ( even offered to make something for us to eat and it was 11pm). Lovely room with stunning views and four poster bed, Good quality towels and bathroom products. Full Scottish breakfast was enormous worth staying... More

We arrived at 2.30pm - when staff were just about to clear away Sunday lunch. They very kindly delayed this and brought us beautiful starters of smoked and poached salmon. We had the Sunday carvery (choice of lamb or beef) with loads of vegetables. The large glass of red wine was I think possibly the largest I have ever seen...... More

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights from 15th September 2011. We were a little concerned at first as there didn't appear to be anyone around but after a few minutes the fiendly housekeeper let us in and we realised that on the first night there was only us staying there until later. The room was a little... More
