This place was worse than a youth hostel in Bangkok. Torn curtains, sagging mattress, dirty carpets, rusted drains. I feel sorry for the staff having to work there. They do their best but how can you justify calling this satisfactory is beyond me. I made a complaint to Travelodge and they offered me a 50 pound voucher to go away,... More

Smelly corridors, dodgy double glazing that wont close, very noisy, dirty carpets, lumpy bed, rubbish pillows, clean bedding, bad sleep, cheap sums it up fully. I've stayed here a few times in recent times and have seen the decline. Ill spend the few extra £s needed to get a premier inn room in future

As far Travelodge's go this has been by far my worst stay ever! The bed was so lumpy and awful I had to visit the physio the next day. Rooms were cold and when you switched on the heating it gave off a brunt smell. The double gazing was terrible, you could hear the sound of traffic all night. All in... More

The Travelodge was fine overall - clean & comfy, but being honest, there must be a ghost in room 7, because I was staying there alone, and someone / something pulled my hair, as if pulling out a pony tail, twice, during the night, and it also pressed down quite hard on the right hand side of my head. Not... More

This hotel is looking very tired and in need of a refurbe, the beds were very clean but thats as far as it goes. The walkways have dirty scuffed walls and the room we had was the same, the bathroom was very tired and needed ripping out and replaced. The TV was so old it did not have the white, red and... More

We stayed at this travelodge as it was closest to a venue we were visiting. It is as you would expect to be honest. Drab, plain, dirty. The walls in the halls were scuffed and dirty but the worst thing of all was the smell in the room. After investigating we realised it was the shower curtain and I am... More

We needed a bed for the night after our theatre trip to Manchester & didn't want a city centre hotel & wanted something cheap but clean. This fitted the bill. It is less than half an hour from central Manchester & opposite a huge retail park. It faces a main road & backs onto a housing estate so rooms at... More

I have had some disappointments from travelodge in recent months due to some of their hotels being poorly maintained but this one seems as though it is well looked after. There was more traffic noise than I would have liked but being sat very close to the M60 I should have expected it. If only Travelodge would install better quality... More
