The hotel is very good. For a stay longer than 1 night it is worth upgrading the room. The basic rooms are in an external annex with small windows. On the 1st floor they are under the eaves which restricts headroom. As these rooms are in an external annex and you need to go outside to reach the main hotel,... More

We were given a 2 night stay here as a gift and enjoyed it. The staff were really welcoming and we felt very looked after. We had a basic room which suited us fine but we thought could have done with a small fridge and wifi Internet. There was wifi Internet in the main building which we used in the... More

We had 2 rooms for 2 nights and we ate in the restaurant for breakfast and dinner. We could not fault the hotel at all. The public areas are pleasant and comfortable, the bedrooms are too. Above all, the staff are excellent at their jobs and very considerate. The only small problem is that if anyone telephones to speak to... More

A comfortable, friendly and quiet hotel, overlooking their own 18 hole golf course. Excellent service. Food is good but the menu changes rather infrequently. Take care and enquire before booking dinner as a £25 add-on to your B & B terms because the good choice on the table d'hote menu is often cheaper than the add-on. This may be under... More

We have just spent 3 nights here everything was perfect! Which was a challenge for the hotel as we needed 2 single disabled rooms a family room and we have a dog! I requested an extra pillow and it was delivered to our room before we returned from breakfast. The beds were the most comfortable we have ever slept in.... More

I have just spent a 3 day golfing trip with 14 ageing golfers at this splendid hotel. The only thing that one of these grumpy old golfers could complain about he had to carry his bag up one flight of stairs!!. Everything was of the highest order room, food etc ( as has already been indicated by others). But must... More
