Obviously an old hotel that they aren't spending very much money on updating, but they still want to charge the same amount as the newer places. With that said, it was warm, clean and had the basics. Fine for an overnight stay.

Staff very good and polite,I had a single bedroom,plenty of room,comfortable bed.The wash basin was blocked,that was a little inconvenient,I reported that when I left.The breakfast was very good.Tea and coffee making facilities,plus bottled water.

stayed here for my girlfriend's 40th birthday. room and staff were welcoming and friendly. bent over over backwards to help us when we left something in the room. breakfast was great and beer was cheap. highly recomended
