As a pro-temps resident of Bad Essen, I have to confess that of course I haven't actually stayed at the Waldhotel!! (I have many colleagues who stay on a regular basis, and I never heard a bad word yet!) .........so my focus here is on the excellent La Vigna Restaurant.
