This has got to be 1 of the best hotel/restaurants i have ever been too.The food is outstanding,as is the fresh beer which is brewed on site.i would suggest you try the swartz beer,(amazing). also try the knodel its lovely.the staff are brilliant,friendly and cant do enough for you.food is cooked to perfection and would recommend that when you leave... I used to live in the next town over from the Winkler Brau (Velburg) and we would visit the restaurant almost weekly. This place has it all. Gracious and charming host, great food, comfortable lodging, and the best beer in the region. I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting the Jura region as it is right in the middle... More

This is certainly not a B&B although that is how it is currently listed in Tripadvisor. It is a proper 4-star hotel, with the added benefit of its own award-winning brewery on site. Very traditional feel, solid Bavarian cooking, good beer! Room very clean but sound-proofing could be better. Very limited range of TV channels. More
