We stayed here with small children in June of 2005. We could not have stumbled upon a more wonderful and charming place! The price was so right, the room was HUGE and was actually two bedrooms that shared a bath. One room had a queen and the other had a double and a twin. The furnishings were simple - lots of stuff I recognized from Ikea - but very clean, comfortable with many towels and extra blankets. The grounds were spectacular! After many days playing tourist in the city, the kids were thrilled to run around their expansive grounds and play on the playset. The hotels has several chairs, bistro tables and the like scattered about so that grownups can sit and enjoy a fine bottle of wine and take in the view while others swim in the pool, or play volleyball. It reminded me of an old upstate NY lodge only with French Alpine charm. The food at their restaurant was very, very good and we loved the views of the surrounding mountains.
