I stay here once a month for a few days because my company is based in Graz. The Urdlwrit is a very clean, no-frills hotel and its extremely affordable! The rate of 54 EUR includes wifi and a simple buffet breakfast. The service is very good too - the staff is very nice and attentive.

All the positive reviews are true and accurate. They have great rooms that easily fit a family of 2+2 teens so we did not have to pay for 2 rooms. Location is perfect for an easy 1 day drive from Warsaw if you're heading south. Recommended.

The place is remote (about 25 minutes to downtown Graz) - but close to airport and highway. The landscape is beautiful. I have stayed in the Urdlwirt on many a business trip and thoroughly enjoy the experience every time. This hotel has been owned and run by the Family Reif for generations and indeed at the beginning of the 20th century people used to travel on horseback from Graz to sample the food and hospitality.
