Lovely motels to stay in - beautiful surrondings, clean luxurious motel with helpful friendly hosts. Handy to restaurants and town Centre, but no road noise. Comfortable bed - slept like a baby. Breakfast was lovely sitting out on balcony in sun - even had sun umbrella provided.

We just spent 6 weeks in NZ and stayed at many a great spot, but Colonial Manor was by far one of the best stays we had. The unit was clean, modern, well-equipped, and roomy. But best of all if you were around in the morning you received a lovely fresh baked muffin or scone.

Liz and Dave are your hosts. Liz turned out to be an excellent muffin maker who delivered us chocolate muffins. The motel was quiet, spacious, pretty grounds.
