We have just returned from a week in La Palma at the Hotel Corral de Payo, which we booked through Travel Republic.- brilliant value at just over £150.00 pw for the two of us. However, this is not a hotel, but a block of 6 apartments in the grounds of the owners weekend home. There are also 2 'Casa Rurals' in the grounds which you can rent from the owners via La Palma Tourist websites - ie Oasis de la Palma. We found our apartment to be very comfortable - 1 decent sized bedroom with twin beds - comfy too - a decent bathroom with shower and bath, and living /kitchen area with a large terrace and gardens where there was a small pool.with another terrace and sunbeds. Everything was very clean and new. The settee in the living room area was a sofa bed. No aircon, but we didn't need it anyway. The apartments are on the mountainside near Brena Baja and all have a nice view down to the sea. There are a few other houses around, but generally very quiet.
